Man Found Dead In Water In Lake Michigan Near Buckingham Fountain
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was found dead in Lake Michigan off Grant Park downtown late Thursday.
Police at 5:30 p.m., multiple witnesses told officers that someone was unresponsive at the bottom of the lake on the other side of Lake Shore Drive from Buckingham Fountain.
Police Marine Unit personnel pulled the man out of the water, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Area Three detectives were investigating Thursday evening.
