Person In Custody After West Pullman Stabbing

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A person was taken into custody after a man was stabbed and critically wounded early Sunday in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

About 4 a.m., the 48-year-old was inside a home in the 11500 block of South Justine, when he answered the door and a 46-year-old man stabbed him in the chest and back, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.

A police source said the stabbing may have stemmed from a domestic fight.

Charges were pending Sunday afternoon against the suspect.
