Pedestrian struck, killed by multiple cars on Indiana interstate

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A person was killed after being struck by multiple cars in the middle of I-80/94 in Gary, Indiana.

Indiana State Police said the person was hit by two different cars near Broadway around 9:30 p.m.

It is unknown why the person was in the middle of the road at the time of the crash.

All lanes have reopened.
