Man struck, killed by car while walking away from crash on Bishop Ford Freeway
CHICAGO (CBS) – A man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle Sunday morning on the Bishop Ford Freeway. Illinois State Police say just after 5 a.m. he walked away from a crash just south of 111th and was hit by a car.
Then another vehicle hit the rear of an ISP squad car that was providing traffic control. No injuries were reported from that crash.
I-94 southbound near 111th Street was closed for investigation. All lanes opened at approximately 10:21 a.m.
No further information was immediately available.
