Passenger Files Lawsuit Following O'Hare Shuttle Bus Crash
(CBS) -- The first personal injury lawsuit has been filed - following that O'Hare shuttle bus crash last Friday which injured more than a dozen people.
Seated in the second row of the bus, 52-year-old Talipha Charles of Waukegan was on her way from a parking lot to O'Hare to meet a friend - to fly out.
"And everything was normal on the bus ride and suddenly the bus severely and violently stopped and threw her forward and she thought her life was over."
Michael Krzak of Clifford Law Offices is representing Talipha Charles, who's suing the bus owner - Delaware Car Rental - and the driver.
Krzak says part of Charles' left hand was fractured and her left eye was severely injured. He says Charles' back was also injured.
The lawsuit asks for damages.
WBBM has not been able to reach the bus driver or the bus owner.
