Park Ridge Man Charged In Fatal Hit-And-Run
(CBS) -- Chicago police have announced charges against a 42-year-old Park Ridge man in the weekend hit-and-run that left a 33-year-old man dead.
Timothy McShane faces several felony counts, including aggravated DUI resulting in injury or death; failure to report a fatal accident; and reckless homicide. He was expected to appear in bond court Tuesday.
Police say McShane was identified as the driver of a black SUV that struck victim Shane Stokowski about 5 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of North Aberdeen. Stokowski was later pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital.
