Police seeking information in shooting that left 2 teen boys dead in Palatine
PALATINE, Ill. (CBS) -- An investigation is underway after two teenage boys were shot and killed in Palatine Friday night.
Police said officers responded to a report of a person shot and found two victims, both 16 years of age, within the 1800 and 1900 blocks of Green Lane North.
Both of the teens were identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office
The first victim, identified as Eduardo Alpizar, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, identified as Uriel Garcia, was taken by the Palatine Fire Department to Lutheran General Hospital where he later died.
The Palatine Police Department is investigating with assistance from the Major Case Assistance Team.
