Outdoor Ice Skating Rink Opens Friday At Navy Pier
CHICAGO (CBS) -- For those who need a place to cool off in the summer heat, Navy Pier has a unique alternative.
Starting Friday to Oct. 31, guests will be able to ice skate outdoors.
Yes, ice skate.
The Skate by the Lake ice rink is located in Polk Bros. Park, located at the main entry of Navy Pier.
Tickets are $10, plus $5 to rent skates.
The rink is open from noon to 10 p.m.
Even with temperatures in 90s, which is expected on Friday, a cooling system will keep the ice from melting.
