One Dead In Armed Robbery At Boost Mobile In South Holland
SOUTH HOLLAND (CBS) -- One person was fatally shot during an armed robbery Tuesday at a mobile phone store in South Holland.
Around 2 p.m., police were called to the Boost Mobile store, 1022 East 162nd St. to investigate a report of an armed robbery.
Two suspects held up the store with several customers inside, police said.
One person was shot and later pronounced dead at Ingalls Hospital in Harvey.
Police arrested one of the suspects after a brief chase.
The second suspect remains at large, police said.
The South Suburban major Crimes Task Force is assisting in the investigation.
The name of the victim has not been released.
