Niles Police Searching For Driver In Fatal Hit-And-Run Accident
(CBS) -- Niles police are searching for the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident earlier this month.
Police say on Sept. 17 shortly before 11 p.m., a pedestrian was fatally struck by the hit-and-run driver in the 8600 block of Golf Road.
The vehicle that fled the scene was a 1999-2002 Toyota 4Runner, police said. The vehicle has front-end damage to the driver's side left turn signal assembly and left marker light and possible a decal/design on its right side, police said.
