New Age-Progression Photo Of Sarah Avon Who Disappeared In 1981
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Will County Sheriff's Office is releasing a new age progression photo of a girl who went missing in Joliet 39 years ago.
Sarah Avon was just six years old when she disappeared from in front of her home in 1981.
A new photo was released showing what she may look like now. Investigators named a person of interest in the case, William Redden. He was a cousin of Sarah's father, but died ten years ago.
The sheriff searched his former home last year but found nothing. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Will County Sheriff's Office Detectives Unit at 815-727-8574.
