Near Perfect Cookout Weather For Memorial Day Weekend
CHICAGO (CBS) -- If you've got a barbecue or picnic planned for the Memorial Day weekend, the weather should be just what you were hoping for.
There will be plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures on Sunday, with a high around 82 degrees.
Monday will be even warmer, with a high near 85, although a breeze off the lake will keep temperatures in the upper 70s along the lakefront. Monday does bring the chance for a stray shower, but it's less than 10 percent, so not a washout by any means.
For the Chicago area, the best chance of rain doesn't come until later in the week, starting late Tuesday, and especially on Wednesday.
The end of the week should be sunny and mild, with temperatures cooling into the upper 70s on Thursday, and then the low 70s on Friday and Saturday.
