Three Teens Wounded In Shooting On King Drive

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Three teens were wounded in a shooting on the Bronzeville neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon, Chicago Police said.

Police say that all three are males, ages 16-17 and are students at Dunbar High School. All were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

The gunfire erupted in the in the 4900 block of King Drive, the Bronzeville neighborhood, shortly before 4 p.m. The victims were in a minivan which was riddled with bullets. A neighbor says she heard about 25 rapid gun shots.

Police say a fourth boy, 15-year-old, was hurt by glass that shattered from gunfire.

Chicago Police say the group was targeted and may be in retaliation for a shooting Tuesday morning at 37th and Michigan.
