Motorcyclist Dies In Overnight Crash On I-355
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A motorcyclist died after crashing his 2012 Harley Davidson into a wall on Interstate 355 early Thursday in west suburban Lisle, police said.
Emergency crews responded at 2:04 a.m. to the single-vehicle crash in the southbound lanes of the highway near milepost 20, according to Illinois State Police.
The driver, a male whose age wasn't available, was dead at the scene, state police said.
The left lane of southbound I-355 was closed for about four hours, while authorities investigated the crash.
All lanes were opened as of 6 a.m.
