Cloudy and mild Sunday ahead for Chicago, rain likely on Monday

Cloudy weekend for Chicago area, big temperature drop coming next week

CHICAGO (CBS) — Saturday night temperatures will drop into the middle 30s, but it'll feel like the lower 30s to upper 20s due to a wind sustained at 5 to 10 mph. 

If you are heading out anywhere for Saturday night, make sure to dress warm. It will still be cloudy tomorrow, but high temperatures will be a little more bearable in the lower 50s.

For the Bears game at Soldier Field, kick-off at noon will feature cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 40s warming towards the end of the game in the lower 50s.

On Monday, scattered rain showers are in the forecast with highs topping out again in the lower 50s. 

Cooler air returns this week with highs in the 30s starting Tuesday and that cold-air trend will continue through next weekend.

On Wednesday through Thursday a wintry mix is looking more promising across our area, which could create tricky travel for the upcoming holiday.
