Sunny and pleasant stretch of fall weather ahead for Chicago area
CHICAGO (CBS) — Clearing skies Friday afternoon with steady temperatures in the upper 60s lakeside, mid 70s inland.
Dry and quiet tonight and Saturday. A warmer wind flow sets up Saturday, allowing temperatures to soar into the lower 80s.
The next cold front passes through very early Sunday morning. This system does not have a lot of moisture to work with, so we only expect showers along the front between midnight and daybreak Sunday. Sunday will be much cooler with a gusty northwest wind flow, but plenty of sun.
