Police seek second suspect in armed robbery in Bensenville
CHICAGO (CBS) – Lombard police are searching for a second suspect wanted for an armed robbery in Bensenville on Wednesday.
Police said it started with a call of a break-in at a Chase ATM on Grand Avenue.
The suspected crew ended up crashing near St. Charles and Westmore Meyers Road.
One suspect was taken into custody, while another ran off and got away. Several agencies were pursuing a person suspected of committing an armed robbery.
Lombard police had several roads in the area blocked off. Inbound and outbound Metra UP West trains were stopped Wednesday evening as a result of the search.
