Meet The Latest Cubs Curse Reverse: Littleton The Dwarf Goat
(CBS) – Can a little goat undo a purported curse that has plagued the Chicago Cubs for decades?
A furry creature named Littleton is on a singular sports mission, CBS 2's Jeremy Ross reports.
Evan Marinis and his friends marched to the Wrigley Field marquee Friday with their dwarf goat, Littleton.
He's described by the group as 10 pounds of good karma, and they hope the animal can undo the infamous "Billy Goat" curse of 1945.
Marinis says his family knows the Sianis family. That's the family with the infamous goat that legend says was kicked out of the ballpark along with its owner 70 years ago.
Littleton's handlers the act of posting a picture will perhaps reverse the curse.
Some are working to change Wrigley's appearance as Sunday's home opener nears. Others are working to change the ballpark's luck.
