Mayor Lightfoot Says Bulls, Blackhawks Fans Will Be Allowed Back At United Center Before Season Ends If COVID Numbers Drop

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Mayor Lori Lightfoot has said that she expects Bulls and Blackhawks fans will be allowed back in the United Center before the season ends.

But that is only if the city's COVID-19 numbers go down.

If they don't make the playoffs, both teams have seven home games remaining.

Chicago is one of three NBA cities to not allow fans, and will be the last American NHL city without fans.
