Masked Woman Robs Bank In Oak Lawn

(STMW) -- A woman suspected in a string of bank robberies in Indiana held up another bank Wednesday morning in southwest suburban Oak Lawn.

The thin, 5-foot-1 white woman walked into the TCF Bank branch at 9801 S. Cicero Ave. in Oak Lawn 10:38 a.m. and made off with an unspecified amount of cash, according to the FBI. She didn't show a weapon, and no one was hurt.

The woman — who wore a black mask, a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants and sunglasses — is responsible for "multiple" bank robberies in Indiana, authorities said.

Anyone with information should call the FBI at (312) 421-6700.
