Man Walks Into Holy Cross Hospital With Gunshot Wound

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man who walked into a South Side hospital early Thursday told investigators he was shot in the West Englewood neighborhood.

The 22-year-old man walked into Holy Cross Hospital about midnight with a gunshot wound to the arm, according to Chicago Police. He was listed in good condition.

He told investigators he had been shot in the 6900 block of South Damen, but no crime scene was located in that block, police said. He was "heavily sedated" as of early Thursday and could not immediately tell police further details about the circumstances of the shooting.
