Man Suspected Of Fatally Shooting Gurnee Woman In Kenosha Tavern Turns Self In

(STMW) -- A Wisconsin man turned himself in to police Sunday after being on the run since an early morning shooting Saturday killed a north suburban Gurnee woman, according to the Kenosha Police Department.

M.L. Terrell Dale, 24, of Kenosha, was wanted on a warrant in connection with a shooting at 1:45 a.m. Saturday inside the Shenanigans Tavern in the 2400 block of 52nd Street, the Pioneer Press is reporting.

Kenosha Police Lt. Bradley Hetlet said Dale brought a pistol into the bar, fired several shots and fled.

The sole victim, a 31-year-old woman from Gurnee, was taken to Kenosha Hospital and Medical Center where she later died. On Monday, police identified her as Terriana Cecil.

An arrest warrant was issued for Dale as investigators thought he may have fled to Chicago, Hetlet said. At 6 p.m. Sunday, he turned himself into police.
