Man Stabbed To Death In Humboldt Park Neighborhood
(STMW) -- A man was stabbed to death Friday night in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.
Orlando Lomax, 28, was walking on the sidewalk in the 3900 block of West North about 11:30 p.m., when four males walked up and the group got in a fight, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
During the fight, he was stabbed in the back, authorities said.
Lomax, of the 1500 block of North Karlov, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:35 p.m., the medical examiner's office said.
Police said he was gang affiliated.
