Man Stabbed Multiple Times During Attempted Carjacking In North Lawndale
(STMW) -- A man was stabbed during an attempted carjacking late Saturday in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.
Multiple people tried stealing the 28-year-old man's vehicle, stabbing him multiple times in the process about 11:10 p.m. in the 4300 block of West Roosevelt, police said. They ran off when the man tried fighting back, police said.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in guarded condition, police said.
