Man Shot While Driving On Dan Ryan Expressway
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was shot Monday night while driving on the Dan Ryan Expressway on the South Side.
At 11:24 p.m., the 26-year-old was driving north on I-90/94 between 83rd and 85th streets when he heard gunfire and realized he'd been shot, according to Illinois State Police.
He ended up crashing his vehicle at 8th Street and Lafayette Avenue, where authorities were then notified, police said.
The man was taken with non-life-threatening injuries to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
