Man shot to death in Chicago West Side alley, police say
CHICAGO (CBS) — A man was shot and killed Thursday night in an alley in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.
The shooting happened just after 10:30 p.m. in the 2700 block of West Harrison Street.
Chicago police said officers arrived at the scene and found the man in the alley with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He died at the scene. The age of the victim was not released.
At least several evidence markers were found near garbage cans.
It is not clear what led up to the shooting.
Area 4 detectives are investigating.
