Man Shot On Lake Shore Drive In Gold Coast

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was shot overnight as he was driving on Lake Shore Drive in the Gold Coast neighborhood.
The 22-year-old man was driving north on Lake Shore Drive around 12:15 a.m. near Oak Street, when another vehicle pulled up alongside, and someone inside opened fire.
At least two bullets pierced the door of the man's SUV, and he was shot in the arm.
He was able to drive himself to Lurie Children's Hospital, where he was treated for a bullet wound to his arm.
Police shut down several lanes of Lake Shore Drive while investigators searched for evidenced, but the road was reopened before the morning rush.
No one was in custody Friday morning.
