Man Shot And Killed In Pilsen

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot to death Tuesday evening in the Pilsen neighborhood.

The 28-year-old man was in the 1700 block of West Cermak Road at 6:48 p.m. when someone walked up and shot him in his chest and side, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. Additional details were not immediately available early Wednesday.
