Man Shot And Killed In Gary
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A person is in custody after a man was found shot to death in his vehicle Monday night in northwest Indiana.
Alec McCloud, 44, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in his vehicle a few minutes before 8 p.m. at 5th Avenue and Roosevelt Street in Gary, Ind., according to Gary police and the Lake County coroner's office.
McCloud, who lived in the 2100 block of Delaware Place in Gary, was taken to Methodist Hospital Northlake, where he was pronounced dead at 9:16 p.m., according to police and the coroner's office. His death was ruled a homicide.
One person is in custody, and charges are pending as of Tuesday morning, police said.
