UPDATE 9:14 p.m. 10/22/14

CHICAGO (CBS/STMW) -- A man has been charged for allegedly starting a fire that injured a firefighter and displaced multiple residents in the Logan Square neighborhood early Wednesday.

Police say Isaiah Camacho, 18, intentionally set a fire in the 3500 block of West Palmer Street at approximately 2:45 a.m. Wednesday. Camacho has been charged with one felony count of arson and will appear in bond court Thursday.

The fire started in a vacant two-story building and spread to an adjacent two-story building which was occupied, Chicago Fire Department spokesman Joe Roccasalva said.

The fire had been put out by 4:20 a.m., fire officials said.

A firefighter was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center with minor injuries, Roccasalva said. No other injuries were reported.

Ten people were displaced by the fire, police said.

The police Bomb and Arson Unit is investigating the fire, Pacheco said.
