Man In Critical Condition After Being Pulled From Lake Offshore From Downtown

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was in critical condition Saturday evening after being pulled from Lake Michigan offshore from downtown Chicago.

The man was found unresponsive in the lake offshore from the east end of Lake Street at 6:15 p.m., police said.

The 50-year-old man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition, the Fire Department said.

Sources said the man might have fallen into the water.
