Man Found Dead In Dan Ryan Woods
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Cook County Sheriff's police are investigating the death of a Chicago man whose body was found Monday afternoon in the Dan Ryan Woods Forest Preserve near Chicago.
Police spokeswoman Sophia Ansari said the body was found about 2 p.m. in the forest preserve, along the 8900 block of Western Avenue.
Ansari would not say who found the body, or about how long it had been in the woods.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office identified the man as 25-year-old Stephan Beck of the 9700 block of South Claremont Avenue.
An autopsy to determine his cause of death is scheduled to be conducted Tuesday, the medical examiner's office said.
