Man Killed In East Chicago Crash
(STMW) --A 38-year-old northwest Indiana man died Saturday evening in a traffic crash in East Chicago.
The crash happened in the 3100 Dickey Rd. in East Chicago, according to the Lake County coroner's office.
John Weede suffered blunt force trauma in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:58 p.m., authorities said.
Weede lived in the 3500 block of Wicker Avenue in Highland, Ind., authorities said.
East Chicago police could not immediately be reached for more details.
