Man Charged With Murder Of 16-Year-Old Girl In Markham
Prosecutors say 32-year-old Antonio Rosales was at the party and contacted a 16-year-old who advertised on a website.
Authorities say the 16-year-old, Desiree Robinson, came to the party and that Rosales had sex with her in a truck.
Cook County State's Attorney's Office Spokeswoman Tandra Simonton says that later that morning, the two went into the garage at the home.
"The defendant admitted that he had no money for a second encounter, and he tried to negotiate an additional free 15 minutes," she said. "The victim refused his offer and insulted him. Afterward, he punched her in the face and strangled her as she tried to call for help."
Simonton says an autopsy showed Desiree Robinson was strangled, cut and beaten.
Rosales was ordered held without bail.
