Man Caught On Cam Arrested For Burglary
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man has been charged with stealing packages from apartment building vestibules on the North Side twice in October.
Julio Code, 49, faces two felony counts of residential burglary, police said.
The burglaries happened about 10:30 p.m. Oct. 11 in the 1800 block of North Winnebago Avenue and again about 5:50 a.m. Oct. 23 in the 1900 block of West Diversey Parkway, police said.
In both incidents, Code pried open the door of an apartment building and stole the delivered packages left in the vestibule.
Surveillance photos and videos were released and Code was subsequently arrested Monday.
