Man Arrested On United Flight After Drunken Disturbance, Punching Another Passenger
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A Texas man was arrested at O'Hare International Airport on Wednesday, after allegedly causing a drunken disturbance on a United Airlines flight, punching another passenger, and injuring a police officer.
Police said 31-year-old Adam Kealing, of Austin, was on board United flight 5587, bound for Dayton, Ohio, around 7:40 p.m., when he drunkenly refused a flight attendant's instructions to turn off his cell phone.
Keeling then allegedly punched a fellow passenger.
The plane returned to the gate, and police came on board to arrest Kealing. He allegedly resisted as officers took him into custody, and slightly injured one officer
Kealing was charged with three misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest, and one misdemeanor count of battery. He was due to appear in court on Aug. 23.
