Man Arrested For Fake Bomb Threat On Boston-To-Chicago Flight

(CBS) -- A man was arrested in Boston on Wednesday, after making a false bomb threat while boarding a flight to Chicago.

Police said 55-year-old Dennis Campbell, of Uxbridge, Massachusetts, was boarding United Airlines flight 439 at Logan International Airport around 6:50 p.m., when he said he had a bomb in his bag.

The flight was delayed for almost an hour as investigators searched for a bomb, but nothing was found. Campbell was arrested for making a false bomb threat, and was due in court on Thursday.

The plane departed Boston about 50 minutes late, and landed at O'Hare International Airport about 30 minutes late.
