Man, 54, Shot Dead In West Pullman

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 54-year-old man is dead after being shot in the West Pullman neighborhood Sunday night.
The shooting happened at 8:25 p.m. Sunday in the 12100 block of South Loomis Street, police said.
The man was approached by an assailant he did not know who fired shots, police said.
The victim was struck multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No one was in custody Sunday night, and Area South detectives were investigating.
