String Of Purse Robberies Along Mag Mile Prompts CPD Alert

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A string of robberies at stores along the north end of the Magnificent Mile has prompted a warning from Chicago police.
Three times over the past month, between two and four men went into an open store, snatched purses from display tables and took off in a waiting getaway car.
Police said the men are in the their early 20's and have been caught on security cameras.
Investigators are now looking for them.
