After Hundreds Of Years, The Longest Partial Lunar Eclipse Happens Thursday
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Hope for clear skies come Thursday night as the longest partial lunar eclipse in 600 years is on the way.
Best viewing is this Thursday and Friday night. That's when the moon slips into earth's shadow for a couple of hours. Weather permitting, the eclipse will be visible from any location where the moon appears above the horizon during the eclipse.
