Listen: Shepkowski's Tribute To Cleveland Tourism
(CBS) It was Chicago big man Joakim Noah, famous for his disdain of the city of Cleveland, who took the first jab ahead of the Bulls-Cavs second-round series that starts Monday evening.
"I never thought I'd say this, but I'm very excited to go to Cleveland," Noah said shortly after the Bulls eliminated the Bucks last Thursday in Milwaukee.
If you'll recall, it was Noah who in 2010 stoked the fire by seriously wondering if anyone travels to Cleveland for vacation and sharing his honest thoughts.
"I don't know about this place, man," Noah said back then. "I just stayed in my hotel room. Every time I look out my windows, it's pretty depressing here man. It's bad. It's bad. No — no going out in Cleveland, man. It's all factories."
With that in mind and a big series getting started, 670 The Score producer Nick Shepkowski figured the timing was right to create the gem below -- a tribute to Cleveland tourism.
Have a listen.
