K-HITS Hosting First Ever 80's Wonderland Concert
CHICAGO (CBS) – CBS Radio's 104.3 K-HITS announced Friday they will be hosting an 80's Wonderland concert at Joe's Live in Rosemont on Dec. 2.
The K-HITS 80's Wonderland concert combines some of the best hit songs from the 1980's with performances by Eddie Money, Wang Chung, Naked Eyes and Tommy Tutone. As a whole, the artists have 22 songs that have reached the Billboard Top 40 charts.
"This brand new event is designed to bring a collection of 80's artists on stage for our audience to enjoy and reminisce and to create a great branding experience for our sponsors," said Todd Cavanah, Vice President of Programming, CBS Radio Chicago. "This will be an exciting way to celebrate the holiday season with a fun night of feel good 80's music!"
Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at ticketweb.com and khitschicago.com.
General admission tickets are available for $45 and a limited number of VIP tickets with balcony viewing are $100.
The concert will be held at Joe's Live, 5441 Park Pl., Rosemont.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
