Investigation under way after Infant found dead inside North Lawndale residence
CHICAGO (CBS) – Detectives are investigating after a 1-year-old boy was found dead inside a home in the North Lawndale neighborhood Thursday afternoon.
His body was discovered Thursday afternoon around 4:15 p.m. in a home in the 1300 block of South Kedzie Avenue.
He was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Chicago Police say the cause of death was blunt force trauma to his abdomen and child abuse.
No one is in custody.
