Indians Give World Series Tickets To Young Cubs Fan Injured In Cleveland

(CBS) – Remember Johnny Wallach?

He's the 7-year-old from Northfield who went to Game 1 of the World Series between the Cubs and Indians in Cleveland with his dad.

He was accidentally knocked out in the first inning, when a cheering Indians fan elbowed him in the head. He then went to the hospital with a concussion.

Now comes good news: The Cleveland Indians came through with two tickets for Johnny and his dad for Friday night's Game 3 at Wrigley Field.

"I was feeling really mad and now I feel fine and happy because I'm gonna get to go to the World Series tomorrow," he said.

The young man thanked the team in a photo.
