In Tweet About Dallas Shootings, Former Rep. Joe Walsh Warns Obama To 'Watch Out'
CHICAGO (CBS) -- In the immediate aftermath of the deadly shooting of police officer in Dallas, former Illinois congressman Joe Walsh stirred up controversy.
In a tweet he wrote: "3 Dallas cops killed, 7 wounded. This is now war. Watch out Obama. Watch out black lives matter punks. Real America is coming after you."

Walsh has since deleted the tweet and posted this response:
I wasn't calling for violence, against Obama or anyone. Obama's words & BLM's deeds have gotten cops killed. Time for us to defend our cops.

Five officers were killed and six others wounded when a gunman opened fire during a protest over two deadly police-involved shootings in Minnesota and Louisiana.
In a phone interview with CBS 2 later Friday, Walsh said Twitter temporarily shut down his page. He said some people reported him to the Secret Service.
