In Entertainment: Mariah Carey Misses Notes & Ariana Grande Gets Smacked
1. What I Don't Want For Christmas
Mariah Carey took the stage during the tree-lighting ceremony at Rockerfeller Center in New York City and sounded less than stellar; that's putting it mildly.
Performing her 1994 Christmas classic "All I Want For Christmas Is You," Carey missed more than just a few notes before ending the song without a real high-note in earshot. According to TMZ, the singer was supposed to pre-record the song , but was unable to because of a phone call from her divorce attorney.
Carey, feeling bad for her lackluster performance, apologized to fans on Twitter.
Getting smacked in the head by an angel sounds like the beginning of an absurdly corny pick-up line, but for pop star Ariana Grande, it was a ridiculous truth.
While performing at the "2014 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show," Grande was accidentally smacked in the face with the wings of Victoria's Secret angel Elsa Hosk.
You'll just have to wait for the fashion show to premiere Dec. 9 on CBS to see Grande making one of the most ridiculously funny faces of 2014.

In a recent interview with E!, Lady Gaga claimed that she was sexually abused as a teenager by her former music producer.
Without naming specifically who that producer is, Gaga explained the situation and her journey to coping with it, stating, ""My music's been wonderful for me. But, you know, I was a shell of my former self at one point. I was not myself. To be fair, I was about 19."
Gaga also went on to say that her song "Swine" off of her 2013 album Artpop addresses the situation directly.
4. Jennifer Lawrence, Pop Star
It would seem that Jennifer Lawrence could do anything she wanted without even trying. To prove it, the 24-year-old "Hunger Games" star may make her Billboard debut for her performance of "The Hanging Tree" from her film "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part I."
According to Billboard, the song will likely hit the Top 40 of the Hot 100 with a possible 150,000 downloads this week alone.
5. The Muppets + Naughty By Nature = Greatness
What happens when you combine your favorite childhood clan of fuzzy animals with an iconic 90's hip-hop group? You get the Muppets performing Naughty By Nature's 1993 hit "Hip Hop Hooray" in a strikingly adorable and nostalgic way.
Just for fun, take a look at the parody and try not to smile.
