Holiday Tradition: Building The Daley Plaza Nativity Scene
CHICAGO (CBS) -- One of Chicago's Thanksgiving holiday weekend traditions is being observed today, with the construction of the city's Nativity scene.
Ed O'Malley, of the Nativity Scene Committee, was watching as carpenters and electricians who call themselves "The God Squad" started their work.
"Everybody is out here volunteering. That's the beauty of it."

The Nativity scene will be on display in Daley Plaza until the Saturday after Christmas.
