Highs in the low 80s for the weekend in Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS) — A pleasant weekend is ahead with warmth and low humidity for the Chicago area.

Friday and Saturday will have highs in the 80s, with sunny skies. Sunday will be the warmest day.

The pattern turns active next week with a chance for showers and thunderstorms. The best chances develop Tuesday through Thursday. Temperatures remain seasonal in the 80s.

Mostly sunny, cooler lakeside. High of 81.

Clear by tonight

Clear and mild with a low of 63.

A sunny Saturday ahead

Clouds and sunshine, cooler lakeside with a high of 83.
