Highs in the 80s on Thursday in Chicago
CHICAGO (CBS) — Thursday's cool lake breeze won't last as CBS 2 tracks the quick return of south winds and hotter-than-normal temperatures.
Following a few evening thunderstorms with gusty winds, most remain dry Thursday night, with just an isolated rain shower possible. Low temperatures will be cooler, dropping into the 60s.
South winds and mainly dry weather bring the return of highs in the 90s Friday and Saturday, but widespread thunderstorms—some potentially severe—are in the forecast late Saturday night.
