Highs in the 70s with sunny skies in Chicago

It'll be cool for a little while

CHICAGO (CBS) — Clear and cool tonight. The mid-50s are for lows overnight, and the upper 40s are in parts of the suburbs.

Temperatures will increase for the next five days. Starting Thursday, they will be back in the 80s, and then they will be in the 90s by Sunday.

Heat index values will approach 100 degrees on Monday and could approach 105 by Tuesday in the southern suburbs. There's a chance for a few showers and storms Saturday night into Sunday, but we'll be mostly dry for the next seven days.
